Back up!

After some very delicate work from our hosting provider we’ve put in a ton of new hardware and been able to rebuild the database from the backup so that we can begin posting again. Feeds might be a little congested as we work through the backlog, but hopefully we should be back to normal pretty soon.

Please do accept my apologies for this, it’s been an incredibly frustrating day for us, and it’s awful to think we let you down when you counted on us. Please do reach out to us @twfeed if you are still having problems tomorrow and we’ll make sure we fix them the cases that fell through the cracks!

Thanks again for being so supportive of us, it really made a difference today.

    Well done on recovering so fast! Now that is sorted, I would LOVE some help with my account because when I log in there is no feed listed but it is posting to Twitter for me. @redinstead Please email or twitter me with some help! I would like to either delete my feed and start again or edit the feed.

    Not working for me either. I just started the day before your crash. Everything worked great, feed went to ping.fm then nothing. I redid the feed, set it up, now it only makes one post, a post from yesterday??
    I hope to see it working soon.

    Actually it is working fine for me now. My problem was with my blog. A plugin for wordpress. So the first step is to check out your own feed. If its not updating or doing something wrong, the problem is with your site.

    yetanother foodpronblog, I would really suspect your blog of being the problem. Especially if you are using any autoblog plugins or anything like that.
    so there you go, for me it works again.
    and twitterfeed with pingfm, is a wonderful thing.

    *and* its still posting my blog to twitter even though I deleted the feed and recreated it! It is only set up to post to facebook! and yet, there’s my latest post, on Twitter. Why is this happening?

    @buildawebsitenow – thank you! I did check my blog, and the duplicate postings were a Blogger issue, I *think*. A little time is needed to be sure that is corrected. But…the mystery posts to Twitter by twitterfeed aren’t my blog. There is no auto-posting to Twitter service on my blog, and the tweet specifically says “from twitterfeed”. It’s very strange. Im not angry, Im confused.

    My blog also seems to suffer from the congestion a bit. The first of my two blog posts of 3 January never came through; today’s post is still queued…

    I am frustrated because there is nowhere to go when things are going wrong. I have a message that says “[feed status: Feed checked OK but stopped processing due to update frequency (12 Jan 01:49)] ” What does that even mean? Does that mean I update too frequently? I only blog about 2-3 times a week. There is no suggestion for how to fix this, or link for a better explanation.

    Any news on the issue ? Do you need additional details to investigate ?

    Even though we have it setup to check for new updates every hour, we’re seeing 24+ hour delays on some of our feeds! It seems like it’s been happening for a few weeks now.

    I have 4 feeds set up, from 4 separate blogs, feeding to one Twitter account. As of right now, twitterfeed has NOT yet fed my Twitter account for two posts (on 2 separate blogs) that I made shortly after midnight last night — almost 12 hours ago. Any idea when this might be fixed?

    I have some problem with twitter feed.
    I use this feed : http://feeds.feedburner.com/CurteaScolii on twitter and facebook.

    But when I add new articles, twitterfeed didn`t do anything. Sometimes post an article but without link.

    How can I solved ?

    My feeds aren’t working either and I have noticed no one has responded even though there are 72 (now 73) comments in this thread. Why did they keep us in the loop but are not responding to our continued dissatisfaction? Have they even checked this thread to note there is still a problem and if so why aren’t they keeping us up to date about it?

    I agree their site needs a contact page.

    Same here 2 .. I found that my blog postings writtend 1~2weeks ago sent my twitter just yesterday ! (but, I set it every 6 hours – if my memory is right)

    At first, only the Twitter feed would update. Then, occasionally the posts would make it to Facebook. I’d have to re-authenticate my Twitterfeed connection to Facebook first (everyday) for it to have a shot at going through. Now, nothing seems to be getting through. Kind of like in this comment stream. :-(

    Easy, buy yourself new server or else hire people to administer the Feed so you do not look so affected us as their service users to give us good when we publish some new things on our website and thank you to help us publish But to Twitter or Facebook. I hope you solve your problems for us is easier for us and yet more effective as ah always been. Thanks
